Sustainable Investing
SRI - Sustainable and Responsible Investing aims to identify investment opportunities that are aligned with the client's social, political, or philosophical values – designing an evolving portfolio that creates both financial and social profit. Sustainable and Responsible Investing targets companies that are focused on the future success of global society and the well-being of the environment. It seeks innovative, solution-seeking organizations that may be attractive for a variety of reasons. Companies that are considered to be sustainable, long-term values for investors may include those that are environmentally focused, driven by new or clean technologies, have favorable relations with their employees, respect human rights and champion living wages, engage in fair trade practices, or utilize progressive methods of management. By favoring responsible companies and avoiding companies with harmful business practices, the client can truly make a difference with their money, inspiring positive change for a sustainable future.
Sustainable and Responsible Investing is a holistic approach to investing that is both altruistic and intelligent, and creates a connection between client and portfolio. It consists of a detailed evaluation that incorporates conventional stock analysis as well as qualitative exploration of a company's leadership, business practices, and ethics, to determine future potential. Sustainability is often rated by a company's ESG factors (Environmental, Social, Governance).
